Two decades of shipping things that work.
Codemates was founded in 2005 on a simple idea: small and mid-sized businesses deserve the same quality of software as the enterprise players, without the enterprise price tag or timeline. Two decades later, that's still the job — we just build a lot more of it ourselves now.
We started as a WordPress and custom web development shop, and that client work is still core to what we do — dozens of business sites built, hosted, and kept running over the years. But somewhere along the way we started noticing patterns: the same operational problems showing up across different industries, problems that a real product could solve better than another one-off website.
That's how Booth Genius, BooqDirect, High-3, and messAIging came to exist — each one built to fix a specific, real frustration for a specific kind of business, not to chase a trend. We've since carried that same instinct into mobile, shipping four consumer apps.
What hasn't changed is the size of the team relative to the ambition. We're still small, still hands-on, and still the people who actually answer when you email us.

Our original mark, circa 2011 — kept around as a reminder of how long we've been at this.
